Become the Merkabah
In the wisdom, kundalini, tantra, and quantum dance…that I wish to share, I help you to find out what it means to be one with universal intelligence and creativity.
I have watched bellydancers try to be creative, but they most often just do not know how to do it. I have watched the teachers of creative bellydance, struggle to describe it. I have watched a bellydance teacher do a performance which was announced as creative…but…was not.
What is the missing link? It is the inner workings. Without teaching this, there can be no creativity. You can have mimicry of someone having a spiritual experience while dancing…and that happens most of the time, at best. I see that at raves. Is that all they can give, in an environment that is created for the precise reason of providing a nurturing space for creative expression????
When bellydancing was…revamped…to suit the tastes of Christian morality, and to therefore bypass the creative forces, much was lost. It is not the original tradition, as some think it is. Rather it was reformed as something to not get too into. They also wanted it to be controlled so that no one would veer off track into something…unexpected. It was the same stamp of approval given to our food products.
In the west, we learn the arts as a formula. The results are anything but art. They are merely a superficial rendition. What this does, is it keeps the goods from the people. When we are looking to connect to a higher source of excellence, the map takes off, on some side road…and then how do we find our way home?????
Instead of the arts bringing us closer to the source of all creation which is the purpose, it brings us further away. We need to change that…and it is happening. What has really changed is the world of music, but dance is yet to catch-up.
What does this lock on our connection to higher consciousness create? It creates power, domination and control for the few…and the results can be capitalized on. So, if you can suppress the mastery of the creative process, then only a few will reach such potential, which makes them above the rest, and therefore of value. They then financially exploit that value to the masses that are starved for that, which brings them closer to divinity.
It fosters the veil of illusion, that we are separate from the god-head. Dance then becomes only mindful rather than a co-creation with the divine, as we see in so many creative dance schools. Or if teachers only merely repeat words of wisdom about the spiritual experience from something that they memorized, rather than understood, they are not able to be a living example of the wisdom. Usually students don't go past the limits of understanding that the teacher has.
It is imperative that we come back…to Christ consciousness. It is our birthright. Christ was fully illuminated. This meant that he was purely at one with the god-head. We were not meant to be different from Christ, but a veil was put between us and the light.
What I like to teach is a way back to the source of all through creative dance.
Why is this important? The Source is omni-present, all pervading, ever abundant, ever-lasting, all knowing, the all of that which is in the universe…. Why wouldn’t you want to find your rightful place by being at one with that? We have come so far away from it, that we have a hard time imagining what that could be.
When we dance at this level, however, great understanding comes to us about our connection to Source. When this happens, it is easier for us to find our way back home to the ALL.
